The basis of all creation, including the physical body, are the five elements. The wellbeing of the body, and whether the body is the stepping stone or a hurdle towards one’s ultimate wellbeing, can be determined by purifying the five elements within the system. There is a whole system of yoga called bhutha shuddhi, meaning purification of the elements.

The presiding deity for such pursuit being Bhuteshwara, another element of Shiva. Pancha Bhutha Aradhana is an effort to bring down that dimension of grace of the Dhyanalinga upon the seeker. 14th day of every lunar month will be an opportunity to experience Pancha Bhutha Aradhana between 5:40 pm and 6:10 pm.
This will be particularly beneficial for those who experience weak and unstable constitutions, psychological instabilities, disturbed sleep, a constant sense of fear, and will also be supportive for the fulfillment one’s ambitions. This offering will include an initiation with Abhaya Sutra, a consecrated thread.

Donation for Pancha Bhutha Aradhana  Rs. 500/-

Linga Snanam
will also happen that night. This is an unique  opportunity  for everyone to be in the  sanctum sanctorium of Dhyanalinga and participate in this process.

Inner Engineering @ Dwaraka on 4 Feb 2009

Inner Engineering @ Dwaraka on 4 Feb 2009

Mahashivarathri is celebrated at Isha Yoga Center each February/March. The special nature of the day and the night of Mahashivarathri presents us with a unique opportunity to make use of the forces of nature for our well-being. Also in the yogic lore this night celebrates the Grace of Shiva, who is considered the Adi Guru (the very first Guru) from whom the yogic tradition originates.

You can also have a look at the e-flyer here – Mahashivarathri E-flyer

The planetary positions on this night are such that there is a powerful natural upsurge of energy in the human system. If one can stay awake and aware, in a vertical position throughout the night, it brings about physiological and inner transformational benefits which result in one’s well-being. In addition, the benefit of any yogic practices performed on this night multiply manifold. It is for this reason that in the yogic tradition it is said that one should not sleep on the night of Mahashivarathri.

Given the potential of this occasion, Mahashivarathri is celebrated with great pomp and vigor at Isha Yoga. Over three hundred thousand people, from all over India and the rest of the world participate in the unique nightlong gathering and Sathsang with Sadhguru.

This year Mahashivarathri festival falls on February 23rd 2009. The festival is celebrated at Isha Yoga Centre at Coimbatore and over 100 Isha centres across the world. The celebrations begin at 6:00 pm with Guru Pooja ,followed by a discourse by Sadhguru. Powerful meditations are conducted by Sadhguru throughout the night, interspersed with lively and colorful cultural programs. We have “Indian Ocean” and “Gundecha Brothers” performing this year to make the night more exuberant.

You can avail of Donor Passes for the event at Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore by donating Rs 5000, Rs 1000 or Rs 500 online.

For donor passes in Delhi or any other information, please contact: Tabassum Verma on 9958008654 or Vinesh at 094435 16489.
